  • Please note: The 1" and 1-1/4" is NOT the outer diameter of this bonnet part, it is the parameters for compatible FEBCO 765 vacuum breaker valve, and they are part of the model name of the compatible FEBCO 765 valve, please check your FEBCO vacuum breaker valve's model before placing order, the FEBCO official part number for this is 905212;
  • The product design prevents freeze damage to the bronze body and limits damage to less expensive internal components, provides longer life and more reliable operation. PLEASE NOTE: This part is designed to break when ice formed in sprinkler system to protect the system from total crackdown. Empty the water inside the sprinkler system in advance during the freezing weather to avoid damage, this part is just the last safety. We do not accept returns due to the freezing damage.
  • Install instruction: Please use the included oil to lubricate this part and the bronze valve first before installation, use a screwdriver or any rod shape tools, crossing the supporting columns, to screw this bonnet part into the valve case. Using medium and impulse load to screw, do not over-tighten because this part is brittle, since this part is designed to be as a safety breaker.

Febco 765-1 Repair kit

Fit for FEBCO's Model 765 EVB 1" and FVB 1-1/4" Valve, vacuum breaker and backflow preventer, which is popular with your garden sprinkler system.TWO O-rings are included, Dia. 2.65mm and 2.30mm, respectively. They can best fit for all customer's need for the assembly replacement. The default O-ring on the assembly is Dia. 2.30mm. In some cases, if leaking occurs after you installed the replacement assembly, please replace the default O-ring with the extra Dia. 2.65mm one.

Installation Instruction

Please apply the included grease on both threading of the bonnet part and bronze valve. Two pits on the outer ring of the bonnet part are fitting for large wrench, use proper tool to tighten if needed.

NOTE: Do not force parts. Parts should fit together freely. Excess force may cause damage and render the assembly inoperable. In most cases, tools are not necessary, hand tightening is enough to install this bonnet & poppet replacement into the system. In rare cases that you cannot tighten the bonnet part into the vacuum breaker, apply the included grease on threading, and the two pits on the outer ring of the bonnet part are fitting for large wrench, use proper tool to tighten if needed.

NOTE: This Bonnet & Poppet kit is designed to break when ice forms inside the sprinkler system to protect the system from total crackdown. Drain and empty the water inside the sprinkler system in advance during the icing weather to avoid damage, this part is just the last safety.

NO return for any parts damages due to freezing weather.
